Large packaging

Large packaging is the solution we use when customers have to transport large and heavy machinery and products with non-standard shapes sensitive to moisture and shock. At SOR-DREW, we specialise in the production of customised packaging, precisely tailored to the customer’s requirements. Our own design office and in-house sawmill, as well as high-calibre specialists, allow us to offer tailor-made solutions. We can incorporate cushioning felt, tilt, moisture and shock sensors and – for transport in humid conditions – film (PE, VCI, ALU and others).

Key advantages of large packaging

Packaging can be made from a variety of materials, such as solid wood, plywood, OSB or fibreboard; wooden crates can be prepared for international traffic (ISPM15 standard and phytosanitary certificate with IPPC marking). In consultation with the customer, we also produce labelling, e.g., brand logos in painted or burned-out versions as well as any required pictograms.
